Long time, no see: box ready for printing

Hi! It's been a very long time since you last heard from us. We have been very busy and that is part of the reason it was silent for such a long time. But the main reason was that Michiel's girlfriend was expecting a baby. Baby Lara was born on April 25th and is in good health. But the baby took a lot of time. And even before she was born, she claimed more time than expected by causing her mommy some sores and aches.

But... We can now tell you that the box design has been finalized and is now ready to be printed. We hope to be able to announce when the boxes will be ready for shipping early next week. In the meantime, we can show you these cool pictures:

Upcoming: Pewter Heroes Trilogy Collectors Edition

Hi! One more short update. One to let you know that we'll be launching a special campaign next week. We'll be making 100 Collectors Editions boxes for the Pewter Heroes Trilogy. It will be a special box you can use to store all three games in, with artwork from the original illustrator of all three games.

The campaign will launch next Tuesday. We'll be offering the big boxes with and without the games. So make sure to follow the campaign and tell your friends about it, because it will be a great opportunity to grab hold of the last copies of the trilogy games!

This is a quick update to late you all know all rewards have now been shipped. If you haven't received your reward yet, you should receive it shortly!

Also, you may have noticed we launched a new Kickstarter campaign last Tuesday, called Tree Toppers - A Christmas Card Game. If you would be interested to get a set of very original Christmas cards, this would be the perfect opportunity to do so! But be quick, the campaign for the new print run will only last a few more days!

Games ready, shipment delayed

Hi everyone. It's been a while since our last update. That is mainly because of SPIEL: we attended the fair and have spent some time recovering from it afterwards. In the meantime, however, the production of the Pewter Heroes Trilogy games continued. And the good news is: production is now complete. Also, we have started to ship out rewards and about a third of all rewards are now under way or already at their destination.

The bad news, however, is that we still have to ship the other 2 thirds, which we plan to do the coming week. Apologies for the delay. We promised you delivery in October, but it looks like for some of you that will be November.

On the bright side: at SPIEL quite a number of publishers showed interest in our Trilogy, particularly in Victory Tank. The game got critical acclaim, which should be good news for those of you who pledged for it. Also, we played all three games a lot at SPIEL and we really enjoyed it. So fun should be guaranteed!

Production has started and surveys about to be sent

Hi! It's been a few days since this campaign ended. And things have been very busy, which is why you haven't heard from us in a few days. In this update we'll tell you more about what we have done the past few days and what will happen next.

Miniature production started

This Monday we have started production of the pewter miniatures. And they are turning out beautifully. Without doubt these miniatures are among the nicest most beautiful minis we have ever made. The level of detail is exceptional and overall these miniatures score very high on the 'I want those'-scale. Production of the miniatures will be ready in time, so that's good!

Boxes sent to the printer

The files for the boxes have been finalized and sent to the printer this Monday. Production of the box labels should start today and we expect production of the boxes to commence next week. We expect no problems and should receive the boxes right in time for SPIEL!

Cards will be printed soon

Similarly, the files for the playing cards have been sent to the printer and should be ready right on time for assemnly. Getting all this work done in time wasn't easy and we spent some rather intense hours on it, but we are very happy with what we've got so far.

Pledge manager soon to open

And finally, we have been working to get the pledge manager ready to be opened. We are using BackerKit again. You should receive a message shortly, inviting you to fill out a survey where you are asked about your delivery preferences. Please be aware that if you choose to have your reward shipped, you will still have to pay for the shipping costs.

Also, you will be offered the opportunity to change your pledge or add copies of the games or miniatures to your pledge. Just in case, please make sure to check your spam folder every once in while, so that you are absolutely sure not too miss anything.

Pickup at SPIEL or Spellenspektakel

If you would like to collect your reward in Essen at the SPIEL board game fair, please make sure to fill out the BackerKit survey as soon as possible. This way we'll be able to prepare your reward in time. There will be a lot of things we need to prepare for SPIEL, so there is limited time for us to handle surveys that were sent in at the last moment.
